WHOA (What’s Happening w/ Original Artists) Magazine Expected to Impact Newsstands in Music/Art/Culture Categories
NEW YORK — October 27, 2011 — Publishers Distribution Group, Inc., a leading national distributor of special interest periodicals, has joined forces with WHOA Media Group to handle National and International distribution for WHOA Magazine. PDG’s affiliate, Annas International, Inc., will introduce the magazine to international markets.
WHOA Magazine has developed a refreshing publishing category that has created an interest not seen in the newsstand distribution industry in many years. WHOA is a free spirit forum that provides hope to the “Underdog” artists, presenting their creative genius and opening the doors of opportunity to these artists and geniuses of tomorrow, whether they are in music, film, culture or the arts. WHOA presents insight into the creative cultural scene, differentiating itself from other publications in these categories by pairing top notch writing by unique voices & perspectives with visual beauty.
PDG will expand the distribution from its current base to national, regional, and most local bookstores, as well as emphasis on music retailers and selected drug stores, military bases, and transportation outlets. International distribution will involve global coverage to all countries which import English-language magazines.
