Detroit’s Metro Chevy Dealers chose Beautiful Day as the song for the 2012 Chevy Traverse commercial. Be on the lookout Detroit, Bus Stop Poets are on the move and it’s a Beautiful Day all we can say is WHOA!
“Beautiful Day” exemplifies the crisp summertime garage rock of the early 2000′s. Wilco-esque pop sensibility stamped down with Raconteurs crunch. The flipped in signature strum of Gibson grit sets the mood for a fat rhythm section and soaring vocal, simmering like choice ingredients before each gratifying hook is delivered.
